It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kim Ming “Bill” Mah on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the age of 95 years. Bill is lovingly remembered by his sons, Holden and Jason (Karen); daughter, Ann (Tom); son-in-law, James; grandchildren, Lance, Gregory, Emily, Takeo and Jake; great-granddaughter, Alexis; and brother, Michael. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Debbie; and daughter, Lana. Many decades ago, Bill immigrated to Canada from China in hopes of building a better life for himself and Debbie. Starting with nothing, he worked tirelessly to build a successful business and create opportunities for his family. Bill was known for his unwavering work ethic, often putting in twelve-hour days, seven days a week. He was the hardest working man we have known and acted as a strong role model for his children. He provided strength and stability as a husband, father and grandfather. After retiring, Bill finally had time to enjoy some of life’s simpler pleasures. He loved watching football and treasured every moment spent with his family. He especially cherished the chance to help raise his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. We love you. The family extends their utmost gratitude to the staff at Golden Age Manor, Sturgeon Hospital and Edmonton General Hospice for their care and compassion towards Bill. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Holy Cross Cemetery, where Bill will be laid to rest alongside Debbie and Lana.
